Chesco Burglar 'Lunged' At Homeowner With Knife: Police A Chester County resident returned to their home to find a knife-wielding stranger loitering inside, according to authorities.  Oxford Borough police were called to a home on the 300 block of South Fifth Street for a burglary in progress just before midnight on Tuesday, May 16, the department wrote in a release.  They arrived to find 21-year-old Nicole M. Parsons of Nottingham standing on the porch, police said.  The homeowner told police he found Parsons in the home when he arrived. Man ID'd After Amazon Truck Crash On Lancaster Pike Authorities say that a Chester County man died at the scene of a crash on Lancaster Pike on Wednesday, Feb. 8.  A deputy coroner arrived on the scene near Schoolhouse Road in Providence Township and pronounced 61-year-old Mark Slobodjian, from Nottingham, dead around 6 p.m., according to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office. Answers Sought In Chesco Man's 2020 Hit-Run Death State police in Chester County continue to investigate the hit-and-run crash that killed 23-year-old Nick Sullins more than two years ago.  Troopers were called to the intersection of Rt. 272 and Cemetery Road just after 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 6, 2020, after hearing reports of a pedestrian lying in the roadway, they said in a statement.  They arrived to find Sullins, of Nottingham, badly injured on the road.
