Woman's Body Found In Schuylkill River: Philadelphia Police An unidentified woman's remains were discovered in the Schuylkill River Monday morning, May 6, according to officials.  It happened near the 2800 block of Martin Luther King Drive in Fairmount Park around 11 a.m., city police confirmed to Daily Voice.  Authorities did not offer additional details.

Police ID Victim In Fatal Philadelphia Hit-Run Philadelphia police detectives are investigating after a woman was hit by two cars in a row and died Tuesday night.  It happened at the corner of 49th Street and Lancaster Avenue in Cathedral Park at about 8:20 p.m. on March 14, the department told Daily Voice.  Cobbs Creek resident Darlene Gaston, 58, was struck by a white Mitsubishi traveling west on Lancaster "at a high rate of speed," authorities said.
