Lehigh University Mourns Loss Of Graduate Christian Mazzariello, 20 Christian Mazzariello, a native of Emerson, died on Thursday, Feb. 8 at the age of 20, after battling a brief illness according to his obituary. Mazzariello was a student (Class of 2025) at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, majoring in computer science at  the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science, the university announced in a statement. "Christian was a bright light in the university and engineering communities," Ricardo Hall, Vice President for Student Affairs at Leigh said. "He will be deeply missed." What originally came in as the possibility of weapons in the troubled 27-year-old man's home prompted borough police to summon Bergen County Regional SWAT team members and crisis negotiators just after 5:30 p.m. Monday. Here's a listing of incidents. Mark Kolta, 31, of North Bergen had been involved in an earlier chain-reaction crash on the Hackensack River bridge on westbound Route 3 shortly after 6:30 a.m., East Rutherford Deputy Police Chief Phillip Taormina said.
