Chesco Kennel Owner Neglected Dog, Jury Finds The proprietor of a Chester County pet kennel neglected a dog in her care, resulting in his death, a jury has found.  Denise Durfor, owner of Pleasant Pet Resort in East Nottingham Township, was convicted of animal neglect, the Chester County District Attorney's Office announced Friday, Jan. 27.  The charges stem from the death of Roscoe, a Pekinese in Durfor's care. The animal sustained fatal injuries during his stay at the resort, the DA's Office said.  Pleasant Pet Resort has since been permanently closed, but its website remains online. Chesco Man Missing In Lancaster: State Police State police are searching for 59-year-old Thomas Caldwell, who hasn't been seen since Sunday, Jan. 22.  Troopers say Caldwell, of East Nottingham Township, was last spotted on the 2600 block of Robert Fulton Highway in Fulton Township, Lancaster County. At the time, he was wearing a black sweatshirt and a dark-colored ballcap.  Caldwell is described as 5-foot-10 and 230 pounds with grey hair. In addition to East Nottingham and Fulton townships, he has ties to the state of Maryland, state police said.  Anyone with information is urged to call PSP's Avondale Station at 610-26…

One Killed, Another Injured In Wrong-Way Route 1 Crash One driver was killed and another was hurt following a Tuesday, July 19 wrong-way crash on the Route 1 bypass in East Nottingham Township, authorities confirmed. A 33-year-old Pennsylvania driver was traveling in the northbound lanes between SR472 and SR272 when a 25-year-old wrong-way driver from Maryland struck her vehicle head-on around 5:40 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police said.
