Lower Merion Teacher Killed In Crash Was 'Amazing Husband, Father, And Friend': Fundraiser Friends and community members are collecting donations for the family of the Lower Merion teacher who died in a car accident last Tuesday, April 2.  Tim Mohan, 53, was a social studies teacher at Bala Cynwyd Middle School for 30 years and also served as the school's Athletics and Activities Director, school district officials have said.
