Olenek worked as a physical education teacher in Delaware's Brandywine School District before moving into construction, according to a GoFundMe in his name. The page raised nearly $5,000 as of Nov. 9. He leaves behind his fiance, Tara Gleim, and their children. Rescue Crews Free Construction Worker After Trench Collapse In Lower Pottsgrove Fire crews freed a construction worker who was stuck in a trench while working at a site in Lower Pottsgrove Wednesday afternoon, authorities said. Firefighters arrived on the scene to free the conscious man who was stuck in a trench after a wall collapsed, around 1:15 p.m. on the 200 block of Evergreen Road, according to 6abc and Royersford Fire Company. The worker was sent to EMS for further medical evaluation, authorities said. No further information was available.

Closures will be in place Monday through Friday between Park Road and Township Line Road, and at the Limerick and Sanatoga interchanges. Lower Southampton PD: No-Show Pennsylvania Contractor Scammed 6 Clients A Pennsylvania contractor failed to complete jobs for six clients across Lower Southampton, authorities said. A Lower Southampton resident told police in March 2020 that they paid John McDevitt, owner of McDevitt Construction and Design out of Philadelphia, to complete a construction project, but he never showed, Lower Southampton police said. An investigation ensued, during which police learned that six other customers signed contracts with McDevitt Construction and Design and paid for work that was never completed, police said.
