Chemical Spill Evacuates PA Hotel Pool: Authorities A Hazmat crew was called to a hotel in Central Pennsylvania, leading to an evacuation on Sunday, authorities said. An employee was hospitalized following the chemical spill at The Sleep Inn and Suites in Mountville on July 16, 2023.  Hazmat 2 and Mountville Fire Company No. 1 were called to the incident at  310 Primrose Lane around 1:21 p.m.  "An acid used for pH balancing the pool," caused the incident after it spilled in the utility room, officials said. All Clear: Philly Water Safe To Drink And Unimpacted By Spill, Mayor Says Four days after a chemical spill into the Delaware River in Bucks County, municipal officials in Philadelphia say the city's tap water was unaffected.  Philly's tap water remains safe to drink and use, said Mayor Jim Kenney in an address late on Tuesday, March 28. Duo Dumped Chemicals On Berks Walmart Floor, Police Say Two men are wanted by police after authorities say they dumped chemical liquids on the floor of a Berks County Walmart.  The pair walked into the Tilden Ridge Drive store at about 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, said Tilden Township police in a statement.  Once inside, the suspects walked around the store gathering "chemical items to include but not limited to bleach and motor oil," then dumped the liquids "all over the floors" before leaving in a silver car, the department said.  The mess created a hazard for shoppers and employees, police said, but no injuries were reported.  Walmar…
