27-Year-Old Dump Truck Driver Lost Control In Wreck That Killed SUV Driver On Rt. 422: Police One person died in a three vehicle crash involving a dump truck towing a woodchipper, an SUV and a tractor trailer on Wednesday, Dec. 6 in Berks County. The crash that killed Ford Explorer driver, Lawrence Urban 65, of Birdsboro, happened around 10:45 a.m. on Ben Franklin Highway (Rt. 422) and N. Monocacy Creek Road in Amity Township, Chief Jeffrey Smith said. The dump truck towing the woodchipper was heading east when it lost control just before the N. Human Skull Found In Berks County: Police A human skull was found in Berks County over the weekend, authorities said. The remains were discovered in a retention pond on Pine Lane on Saturday, April 30, Amity Township police said. The Keystone Water Rescue, Berks County Coroner's Office, Berks County Detectives, Pennsylvania Canine Search, and Rescue Team, Amity Fire/Rescue, and Monarch Fire Police all responded to the scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
