Officers were in the process of arresting Michael White, of Manheim, for stealing from the Turkey Hill store on Kings Highway when he shoved and stabbed 35-year-old Coatesville officer William Cahill, the Chester County District Attorney's Office announced.
Cahill was hospitalized for multiple stab wounds and is expected to be released Saturday afternoon.
