Good Samaritan Killed In Hit-Run While Assisting Disabled Car: Philly PD A 24-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run on Sunday night, Nov. 12, while he was stopped to help another driver, according to Philadelphia police.  It happened on the 4800 block of Whitaker Avenue around 6 p.m., the department said. Ezequiel Morales was walking back to his car when he was hit by a white van that fled the scene.  Morales was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center and pronounced dead just before 6:30 p.m., police said.  NBC10 Philadelphia reported that the van was later found abandoned nearby.  The crash remains under investigation, said PPD.&…

Man In Critical Condition, 3 Philadelphia Police Officers Shot In Fox Chase (Update) Following a domestic incident, a man was waiting for officers to arrive so he could open fire, Interim Police Commissioner John Stanford said in a press conference late on Wednesday night.  Standford explained that the domestic situation began when a dad became agitated over his 12-year-old son playing a video game on Oct. 4.  The boy and his uncle turned off the game and went to the second floor of their home in the 7500 block of Whitaker Avenue.
