Crews Battle Early Morning Barn Fire In Berks County A barn in Bally Borough caught fire around 2 a.m. Monday, July 15, according to the Eastern Berks Fire Department.  The fire at the barn, located off South 7th Street, reached two alarms, authorities said. The barn contained hay and equipment but all the dairy cows on the property were in another structure and were not harmed, the department said.  Eastern Berks Fire Dept. PA Dad Dies After Tractor-Trailer Crash: Authorities An Upper Milford man who was badly hurt after colliding with a tractor-trailer in Bucks County last month has succumbed to his wounds, authorities say.  Thirty-eight-year-old Jeremy Kiefer died from multiple traumatic injuries late on Saturday, Oct. 7, Coroner Daniel Buglio said.  The accident happened on Route 663 in Milford Township on Monday, Sept. 25.  Loved ones raised a combined $20,000 to support his recovery over two separate GoFundMe campaigns while the 38-year-old was hospitalized.
