Three teens have been arrested and a fourth is at large following the assault and robbery of a pizza delivery person in Central Pennsylvania on Wednesday, police announced on July 20, 2023. The delivery person was at someone's home dropping off pizzas when the "strong-arm robbery" took place in the 7400 block of Clearfield Street, Swatara Township, area police said. A Virginia Man has been taken into police custody shortly after kidnapping and assaulting a woman in central Pennsylvania on Friday, March 3, police say. The woman who 36-year-old Charles Wilson held hostage is safe now, according to both Pennsylvania state police and Swatara Township police. A woman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a cemetery in Harrisburg, according to Swatara Township police. A 7-year-old boy has drowned at a central Pennsylvania hotel, according to police. Crews were called to the Red Lion Hotel at 4751 Lindle Road for a reported drowning on Wednesday shortly before 10 p.m. When emergency crews arrived, they found an unconscious boy who had already been removed from the pool. A 57-year-old man was charged with attempted homicide after stabbing the passenger of his vehicle with a knife Thursday in what Swatara Township police are calling a domestic incident.
