Crash Shuts Down Route 422 In Exeter Township Exeter police responded to a crash on Route 422 on Wednesday afternoon, June 12.  Authorities said it happened near Daniel Boone Road around 2:30 p.m.  "Motorists should expect the road to be closed for an extended period of time," Exeter police said.  WFMZ reports a Minersville woman died as a result of the crash. Daily Voice has reached out to the Berks County Coroner's Office for details.

The school bus hit the back of a tractor-trailer while traveling north on I-19 near the Route 422 interchange, as reported by WPXI. Drunk Pottstown Driver Crashes On Route 422 In ChesCo, Police Say A drunk driver who crashed her car into a Route 422 guardrail is facing several charges, police said. Officers responded to the eastbound side of the highway near mile marker 171.6 around 7:45 p.m. on March 22, where a white Chevrolet Equinox had hit a guide-rail head on, North Coventry police said.
