New Details Emerge In Deadly Philadelphia Officer-Involved Shooting Authorities in Philadelphia are offering new details about the deadly police shooting of 41-year-old Jahad Snead that began with a triple murder hours earlier on Monday morning, Oct. 2. Officers found four shooting victims — three of them dead — at a residence on the 6100 block of Shelbourne Street around 4:50 a.m., Daily Voice reported. Police Probe Beating Death Of Elderly Philadelphia Man Homicide detectives in Philadelphia are asking for the public's help to solve the 2022 murder of an elderly man.  Eric Holmes, 76, was near the corner of East Sharpnack and Ross Streets at about 2 p.m. on Oct 17. when an unknown assailant beat him up, Philadelphia police say. The attacker made off with Holmes' wallet, a bag, and a black electric scooter, they added.  Holmes was hospitalized but died from his injuries almost two months later on Dec. 6, according to detectives.  City authorities are offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and convicti…

17-Year-Old Girl Shot In Head, Killed In Philadelphia A 17-year-old girl was shot three times and killed while sitting in a car in Philadelphia's Mount Airy section Friday night, police said. She was in a car with three others around 8:30 p.m. at Ross Street, when a large black SUV pulled alongside them and began shooting, authorities said. She was apparently shot once in the head and twice in the chest. The girl was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. No arrests had been made as of Saturday morning. She girl was not believed to have been the target.
