School On Lockdown After Deadly Shooting On Philly Street: Authorities A Philadelphia Charter School was locked down Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 12, following a fatal shooting just blocks away, police say.  A 33-year-old man was shot multiple times on the 1900 block of North Croskey Street just before 2 p.m., the department said. He was pronounced dead at Temple Hospital minutes later, according to authorities.  PPD did not report his name.  Two blocks east on West Norris Street, the K-8 Frederick Douglass Mastery Charter School was placed on lockdown, police said.
