85-Year-Old Victim ID'd In Schuylkill County Crash
Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal crash in Schuylkill County. Ruth Bressler, 85, of West Brunswick Township, died from injuries sustained in a crash near State Routes 61 and 895 just after 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, said Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio in a statement. Officials said Bressler was driving and that she was "in collision with other motor vehicles," but they did not say what led to the crash. Her cause of death has been ruled an accident. The incident remains under investigation by state police, the coroner added.

Two people in a crash involving a tractor trailer in Upper Macungie Township Sunday, Jan. 29, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio tells Daily Voice. 11-Year-Old Boy Dies In Allentown Shooting: Coroner
An 11-year-old boy was shot dead in Allentown late on Tuesday, Dec. 27, said Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio in a statement. The child was shot at his home on the 600 block of North Front Street just before 7:30 p.m. and was rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, the coroner said. Hospital staff declared him dead at about 8:30 p.m. His official cause and manner of death are pending the results of an autopsy scheduled for Friday, Dec. 30 at 8 a.m., officials said.
