Suspect Charged In Kutztown Teen's Killing, State Police Say
Pennsylvania State Police have charged a man with the murder of an 18-year-old near Kutztown University campus, officials say.
Xzavier Wayman, 22, of Philadelphia, was arrested Monday, Dec. 5, and charged with first- and third-degree murder for the fatal shooting of Diego Velazquez, state police said.
As Daily Voice has reported, Velazquez was shot just before 1 a.m. at the Advantage Point off-campus student housing development on Baldy Road in Maxatawny Township on Tuesday, Nov. 22.

A fundraiser has been launched for a Kutztown University student who was struck by a car on campus Sunday, April 10.
"Ollie" Hope McKeone was suddenly struck by the vehicle while in the crosswalk of the main intersection on campus, Barbara Courtney wrote on a GoFundMe.
