Philadelphia Reporter, NJ Dad Facing Child Porn Charges
A South Jersey man who graduated from the University of Maryland and went on to work in TV journalism in Pennsylvania and Virginia has been arrested on child pornography charges, authorities announced. Cleve W. Bryan Jr. was charged Wednesday, Oct. 18 by police in Washington Township, Gloucester County with endangering the welfare of children by possessing child pornography, the department said. Journalist Josh Kruger Knew His Suspected Killer, Philadelphia Police Say
Philadelphia police have obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect in the killing of journalist and activist Josh Kruger. Robert Davis, 19, is wanted for murder and related offenses, PPD Lieutenant Hamilton Marshmond said during a press conference on Friday, Oct. 6. He is considered armed and dangerous by authorities. The lieutenant said Kruger and Davis were acquaintances and that Kruger was "just trying to help him get through life." Shock and sadness spread following the murder of Philadelphia activist and journalist Josh Kruger. Josh Kruger, 39, was shot seven times in his home on the 2300 block of Watkins Street around 1:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2, in the Grays Ferry section of the city, police said. A Philadelphia-raised TV news reporter was shot and killed while covering an earlier shooting in Florida, his station confirmed. Dylan Lyons, 24, a Spectrum News 13 reporter died when the suspect in an earlier incident returned to the crime scene and opened fire Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 22, his Orlando station reported Thursday, Feb. 23.
