Lehigh Valley Man Thrown From Jeep, Killed In Route 80 Crash, NJ State Police Say
A 55-year-old Lehigh Valley man was killed after being thrown from his vehicle on Route 80 before dawn Thursday, New Jersey State Police confirmed. Joseph J. Bauer was heading west in a Jeep Wrangler when he ran off the right side of the highway and crashed into a metal guardrail near milepost 26.6 in Mount Olive just before 2:50 a.m., NJSP Tpr. You had to see it to believe it, witnesses said: A corpse being taken from a hospital to a funeral home fell out the back of a transport vehicle in a multi-vehicle crash involving a horse trailer on Route 17 in Paramus. Deadly Crash Closes I-95 In Bensalem
A deadly crash has closed a portion of I-95 in Bensalem (Bucks County) early Friday morning. The crash involving a Jeep Wrangler and a Toyota Tacoma was reported around 6:20 a.m. on the northbound lanes at Woodhaven Road, Pennsylvania State Police said. One person was killed, PSP Trooper Nathan Branosky confirmed to Daily Voice. Traffic is being detoured onto Woodhaven Road, according to various news outlets. The crash is under investigation by PSP Trevose Patrol Unit.
