One man is in custody and several others are sought after a truck driver was kidnapped and robbed in Bensalem, said township police. Dikenson Joshua Noel, 25, of Philadelphia, is charged with multiple felonies related to the Oct. 23 incident, authorities said. The victim was getting in his delivery truck at KMC Distributor on Byberry Road when two men approached and demanded money at gunpoint, according to investigators. Officials in Bensalem were called to an apartment complex to assist an injured bird on Thursday, Sept. 21, and arrived to find a bald eagle, say township police. The department's animal control officer safely captured the eagle from the Courtyards at Bensalem on Hulmeville Road and turned the bird over to the Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center in Chalfont, authorities said. A Bensalem High School student will face criminal charges after authorities claim she threatened her teacher. Township police were called to the school, 4319 Hulmeville Road, to investigate reported threats on Wednesday, June 14, the department said in a release. Officers worked with school district administrators and learned the student, 15, was "responsible for the threat because she was upset about her grade in class." The Bucks County fire that sent one first responder to the hospital was likely set intentionally by an arsonist, according to authorities. Firefighters rushed to the scene of a two-alarm blaze at the EBooks Web office building at 1388 Bridgewater Road just after 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10. Arson Suspected In Fire Near Bucks Co. Middle School
A small fire in a storage shed near a Bucks County middle school appears to have been the work of an arsonist, according to authorities. Bensalem fire officials were called to a storage shed behind Snyder Middle School on Hulmeville Road just after 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 16, the department said on Facebook. Delivery Driver Hospitalized After Crash With Firetruck In Bensalem: Officials
A delivery driver was injured when their van crashed head-on into a firetruck in Bensalem Thursday, June 2, authorities said. The wreck happened on Street Road and Knights Roads around 11 a.m., Bensalem Fire Rescue said. A 23-year-old Bucks County man admit beating his chiropractor to death and assaulting a detective investigating the case, authorities announced. Joseph O'Boyle, of Bensalem, took a guilty plea in the fatal Nov. 2, 2020 beating of 64-year-old Dr. James Sowa in his Hulmeville Road home office District Attorney Matt Weintraub said.
