Dad Kills 8-Year-Old Son Then Himself In Lower Makefield: Police A 47-year-old dad fatally shot his 8-year-old son before turning the gun on himself, police in Bucks County believe.  Officers were responding to a wellness check on the 500 block of Heritage Oak Drive around 6 p.m. Thursday night, Lower Makefield police said in a release.
