Anthony Tartaglia, of Franklinville, died peacefully on Friday, March 15, with his family by his side, according to an obituary published by Farnelli Funeral Home. He was 48 years old. Originally from Philadelphia, Anthony grew up in South Philadelphia. After graduation, he joined the Navy and was stationed in San Diego, his obituary said. "Having married his high school sweetheart, he and his wife lived in San Diego, Glassboro, Woodbury, and Franklinville before settling there to raise their family," his obituary said. Leon Hill, a Lower Saucon husband and father, died suddenly on Wednesday, Oct. 11 while fishing in upstate New York, loved ones said in his obituary. He was 49. A father and son from Pennsylvania got the surprise of a lifetime from a humpback whale while fishing on the Jersey Shore — and they got it on video. Zach Piller, 23, of Bensalem, took his phone out to capture his dad Doug's catch while fishing off coast of Belmar on Wednesday, Oct. 12. Pennsylvania State Police seek the public's help in finding a fugitive -- an avid fisherman suspected of killing his wife. A warrant was secured on Tuesday for the arrest of Richard Walski, 46 of Luzerne County for the murder of his wife, Patricia. On August 13, after a welfare check, Patricia Walski was foiund dead at their home at 195 Schrader St. in Larksville Borough, state police said at the time.
