More details are emerging in the Thursday, Jan. 11 shooting of a Scranton police officer. The officer and an unnamed "subject" were both shot during an "exchange of gunfire," authorities said previously. In a Thursday afternoon press conference, a state police spokesman said SPD officers were investigating a pair of shootings — one on the 400 block of Harrison Avenue and one on the 300 block of Prospect Avenue — when the gunfight broke out.
