'Larger Than Life': Philadelphia's DJ Ernesto Dead At 43 Ernesto Di Siro Jr., a noted Philadelphia area DJ, died suddenly on Sunday, May 14, his loved ones wrote on a memorial GoFundMe page. He was 43.  A fixture of Philly nightlife, "DJ Ernesto" was well-known and loved by many, his younger sister Teresa said.  "It was difficult to go anywhere without someone recognizing Ernie," she wrote on GoFundMe.
