Antonio “Espn” Yarger Jr, 7, of Erie, was shot in the head-on while on the sidewalk near his home at the corner of Downing Avenue and Fairmount Parkway, Erie police said on Friday. Arrest Made In Thanksgiving Shooting Of Child In Whitehall Township, Police Say An arrest has been made in connection with the shooting of a child in Whitehall Township on Thanksgiving, authorities said. Christopher Lee Benscome, 18, of Allentown, was charged for firing the shot that struck a juvenile passenger sitting in a car on Third and Grape Streets just before 6 p.m., according to the Whitehall Township Police Department. The child was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
