Pedestrian Intentionally Run Over By Dirt Bike Rider In Bensalem Police in Bucks County are seeking the operator of an illegal dirt bike who intentionally struck a pedestrian Saturday, Aug. 5. The 64-year-old victim was knocked to the ground around 7:50 p.m. on Neshaminy Valley Drive in Bensalem, and then run over by the dirt bike operator, police said. This caused substantial injuries to the victim's extremities and internal organs, authorities said. Bensalem Police Rescue Unconscious House Fire Victim Police were being recognized in Bensalem for their unconventional assistance in a fire rescue Wednesday evening. Crews responded to a working fire call at the Bucks County Meadows Apartments on Knights Road just after 5 p.m., according to Bensalem Fire Rescue. Firefighters stretched two waterlines to the smoke-filled building, allowing the kitchen fire to be quickly extinguished, officials said. Driver, 65, Dead Following Bristol Borough Crash A 65-year-old driver was pronounced dead Thursday following a crash in Bristol Borough, authorities said. When police responded to a one-car accident at the intersection of Old Route 13 and Mill Street, they spoke to the driver, who soon became unresponsive, Bristol Borough police said. Officers quickly removed the man from the car and determined he was in cardiac arrest, police said.
