Alleem Borden Arrest: Escaped Philly Suspect Captured
The man who ran from police custody in Philadelphia on Monday morning, Feb. 26 has been arrested, authorities say. Alleem Borden was reportedly being held in connection with a stolen car when he escaped while being discharged from Episcopal Hospital, according to US Marshals. Borden was tracked down to an address in Johnstown, Cambria County, where Marshals said they found him hiding in an attic crawlspace. The search for an inmate who escaped custody earlier this week in Philadelphia is heating up with new information, and a new reward being offered by the U.S. Marshals Service. Alleem Borden ran from officers on the 1300 block of North Allison Street in West Philly around 6:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, Philadelphia police said. Philadelphia police are looking for a suspect who fled custody while handcuffed early Monday morning, Feb. 26. Alleem Borden ran from officers on the 1300 block of North Allison Street in West Philly around 6:45 a.m., PPD said. He was reportedly being held in connection with a stolen car.
