A 32-year-old man in Bucks County is facing charges after giving police false identification, authorities said.

Police responding to reports of a threat on Tinari Drive found Patrick Herens with drug paraphernalia and other controlled substances in his car, Northampton Township police said.

While police attempted to identify Herens, he provided several different dates of birth police said.

Officers said Herens failed to provide his real name and date of birth after giving him the option, police said.

Herens was taken into custody on Feb. 3 and charged for false identification to law enforcement, possession of controlled substance, and possession of paraphernalia.
