A 44-year-old fugitive from Philadelphia has been arrested for stealing a wallet from a shopper in a Bucks County supermarket, authorities said.
Djemba A. Goldwire was arrested after a theft at Acme Markets in Doylestown Borough, according to Central Bucks Regional Police Department.
According to a police report, Goldwire distracted the victim and stole a wallet from her purse, police said.
Police searched the area for Goldwire and found her near Chipolte on North Main Street, they said.
Goldwire was taken into custody and processed at which time it was learned there was a felony warrant out of Plumstead for her arrest, police said.
Goldwire was being held in Bucks County Prison, police said on Monday.
