RT 15 In Adams County Reopens Following Crash (Update)

A crash that closed part of Route 15 in Straban Township, Adams County, has cleared authorities say.

All southbound lanes were shuttered between Exit: PA 234 - HEILDLERSBURG/EAST BERLIN and Exit: PA 394/US 15 BUS - HUNTERSTOWN as of 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, according to the Pennsylvania department of transportation.

Traffic was diverted onto Route 234, authorities say.

Pennsylvania state police asked drivers to avoid the area.

The roadway reopened around 2 p.m.

It is unknown how many vehicles are involved or if anyone is injured.
