Preschooler In Diapers Lost At Intersection In Central PA, Police Say A three to five year old girl was found all alone wearing nothing but a pink t-shirt and diapers, Steelton Borough Police announced on Thursday, March 30, 2023 around 9:20 a.m. The police were searching for the parent(s) or guardian(s) of the girl who was found near the intersection of Swatara Street and South River Alley in the Borough that morning.  They believed she is possibly mixed race. Human Remains Found In Central PA ID'd As Dad Missing For Nearly 1 Year A week after human remains were found in central Pennsylvania, they have been identified as a man who had been missing for nearly a year, authorities say. Goldie Smith, 38, of the 300 block of Swatara Street, Steelton, had been missing since 7 a.m. Monday, September 6, 2021, according to Steelton Borough Police. Smith had last been seen in the 500 block of North 2nd Street when police issued his missing persons alert on Friday, September 10, 2021. Goldie Smith, of the 300 block of Swatara Street, has been missing since Monday at 7 a.m., according to Steelton Borough Police. Smith was last seen in the 500 block of North 2nd Street.
