Preschooler In Diapers Lost At Intersection In Central PA, Police Say A three to five year old girl was found all alone wearing nothing but a pink t-shirt and diapers, Steelton Borough Police announced on Thursday, March 30, 2023 around 9:20 a.m. The police were searching for the parent(s) or guardian(s) of the girl who was found near the intersection of Swatara Street and South River Alley in the Borough that morning.  They believed she is possibly mixed race. Goldie Smith, of the 300 block of Swatara Street, has been missing since Monday at 7 a.m., according to Steelton Borough Police. Smith was last seen in the 500 block of North 2nd Street. 10 Arrested In Steelton Drug Bust A drug bust in Steelton has led to the arrest of 10 people on possession charges as well as outstanding warrants. Pennsylvania State Parole agents and Steelton Borough Police made several arrests in the 400 block of North Front Street on Tuesday. Seven arrests made for possession of heroin, methamphetamine, and marijuana. One person was arrested for possession with intent to distribute black tar heroin. 35-Year-Old Woman Commits Suicide In Harrisburg Cemetery A woman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a cemetery in Harrisburg, according to Swatara Township police. An unidentified 35-year-old woman died of a handgun shot to the chest in the William Howard Day Cemetery located at 801 Lincoln Street, on Friday at around 10 a.m. Police were called to the area prior to the shooting for reports of a suicidal woman. The officers were able to locate her and attempt to diffuse situation but were unfortunately unsuccessful.
