A Fire Police Captain's vehicle has been three days after he went missing, Pennsylvania State Police say. The Laurel Fire Company in Windsor Fire Police Captain Tony Bortner was last seen on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 17, PA State Police explained on Monday, Oct. 21, and as Daily Voice previously reported. On Wednesday, Aug. 14 a coroner was called to the area of search for a 10-year-old boy who went missing while kayaking in Yellow Breeches Creek – which became a recovery mission to retrieve his body on Monday, Aug. 12, the Fairview Township Fire Department announced. Search For Missing Boy Ends In Tragedy For PA Family: Police
The search for a missing child came to a tragic end on Monday, April 29 in one Chester County town. Officials were called to a Kennett Township home on the 600 block of Chandler Mill Road around 2:45 p.m. for reports of a missing 5-year-old boy who had autism, local police said. The child was find amid a widespread search involving multiple agencies, face down in a neighbor's pond, police said. Officers dove into the pond and rescued the boy, starting life-saving measures immediately. Despite all efforts, the boy was pronounced dead at Dupont Hospital, police said.
