A Pennsylvania man wanted by police on aggravated assault charges killed himself when the US Marshals Service showed up at his door, authorities said. The body of 27-year-old Del Harvey was found inside a home on East High Street in Pottstown around 3:30 p.m. Monday, July 11, Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Robert Clark told Daily Voice. A Pennsylvania man didn't seem too upset about his recent arrest based on his mugshot Jonathan Shaffer, of Phoenixville, beams in the photo after West Chester police charged him for DUI. Shaffer, 25, was pulled over around 2:30 a.m. on May 3, when police saw spotted him driving erratically on the 400 Block of E. Market St. in the city, they said. Shaffer showed signs of impairment, and following an investigation, he was charged with impaired driving. A preliminary hearing was pending at District Court 15-1-04.

A 16-year-old lifeguard from Pennsylvania died after a boating accident on the Jersey Shore. Norman V. Inferrera III, of Phoenixville, PA, was rowing a lifeguard boat in the ocean when the vessel was broadsided by a wave and flipped over on the Reading Avenue Beach in Cape May Aug. 19, police said.
