Videos Show PA Woman Mutilating, Torturing Animals
A Delaware County woman is facing charges for torturing animals in footage she shared online. Anigar Monsee, 28, of Upper Darby, mutilated and tortured the chickens, frogs, and bunnies, in footage shared to YouTube and other social media platforms, multiple news outlets including 6abc and NBC10. Monsee on Jan. 19 was charged with four counts of aggravated cruelty to animals by means of torture, court records show. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 5. Feds Put Stop To Animal Transporter Year After Crash Left Monkeys Running Around Pennsylvania
The animal trucking company involved in a high-profile crash that had escaped monkeys running around Pennsylvania has been shut down by federal officials. PETA apparently submitted evidence to the US Department of Transportation that Quebedeaux’s Transport appeared to be illegally transporting monkeys to labs, the organization said in a news release. The airline responsible for bring hundred of monkeys to the US for laboratory experiments will stop the shipments, following a crash in Pennsylvania where monkeys escaped, according to PETA.
