Jad McGuinness Charged With DUI After Striking PSP Trooper A 47-year-old Virginia man has been charged after injuring himself and a trooper while driving under the influence, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Feb. 27.  Jad Michael McGuinness of Lawrenceville, VA was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 when he rear-ended a marked PA State Police 2022 Dodge Charger at a red light at Route 30/York Road at its intersection with Smith Road at 8:38 p.m. on Feb. 25, Investigating trooper Michael Kishbach detailed in the release.  The name of the trooper stuck was not shared, but Kishbach noted the trooper was a man from Gettysburg. …

Man In Stolen Vehicle With 3 Kidnapped Kids Leads Pennsylvania State Police On High-Speed Chase A 7, 12, and a 14-year-old boy were allegedly kidnapped by a man in a stolen vehicle in a Walmart parking lot in Gettysburg, on Sunday, Nov. 20, according to a release by the Pennsylvania state police the following evening.  44-year-old Jason Harris of York Springs supposedly hopped into the car— while under the influence— at a Walmart located at 1270 York Road. Adult Charged In 'Devious Licks' TikTok Challenge Damaging Cars, Buses, Homes, PA Police Say The "Devious Licks" TikTok challenge continues in the midstate region, leaving one school with $10,000 worth of damages, according to police. The Littlestown school bus yard had eighteen school buses with fire extinguishers, cars and homes in the area vandalized by three teenagers and one adult, according to area police.
