Jad McGuinness Charged With DUI After Striking PSP Trooper A 47-year-old Virginia man has been charged after injuring himself and a trooper while driving under the influence, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Feb. 27.  Jad Michael McGuinness of Lawrenceville, VA was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 when he rear-ended a marked PA State Police 2022 Dodge Charger at a red light at Route 30/York Road at its intersection with Smith Road at 8:38 p.m. on Feb. 25, Investigating trooper Michael Kishbach detailed in the release.  The name of the trooper stuck was not shared, but Kishbach noted the trooper was a man from Gettysburg. …

Larry J. Redding Of Gettysburg Killed In Crash: PSP A Gettysburg man succumbed to his injuries after crashing in Mount Joy Township on Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 13, troopers say.  Larry J. Fire Police Officer Struck While Directing Traffic, PA Police Say A fire police officer was struck by a passing car while directing traffic for a tow truck, according to Pennsylvania state police. Darryl L. Krom, 58, of Hanover, was hit by a Kia near the intersection of Hanover Pike and Pine Grove Road in Union Township on Sept. 23 just before 7 p.m., as stated in the police report.
