Man Dies 12 Days After Serious Central PA Crash, Police Say A man has died in the hospital from injuries sustained in a serious car crash the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department announced on Monday, April 22. Malcolm Parker, 74 of Lancaster City, was taken to an area hospital follow a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Main Street and New Street in East Petersburg Borough, Stevens that happened around 3:53 p.m. on April 7, the department detailed in the release.  Parker passed away on Friday, April 19, according to the police.  Regarding the crash the police released the following statement: "Evidence from the prel…

East Petersburg Man's Cause Of Death Revealed After Standoff Turned Fatal Fire (Update) The cause of death has been released for a man found dead after a "domestic incident" turned standoff ending with a house fire, the Lancaster County Coroner explained. Mark D. Hackman, 53, of 6294 High Street in East Petersburg Borough, died by a self-inflicted gunshot to the head, and the manner was suicide, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Eric Bieber.
