Bucks Man Sentenced In Brutal Attack Of Estranged Wife In Front Of Child A Bucks County man was sentenced to 22 to 46 years in state prison on Thursday for repeatedly stabbing his estranged wife during a brutal attack in front of their child last year, authorities said. Walter Joseph Vandoren Jr., 44, of Bristol Township, had pleaded guilty in May to attempted homicide, burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, terroristic threats, and criminal mischief, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
