The following men contacted children on social media for sex and arrived at a location in Conshohocken, where they were met by undercover detectives instead:
- Onesimo Rodriguez Campos, 27, of Norristown
- David G. Kohlmeier, 46, of Devon
- Allan R. Lattanzi, 57, of Lower Providence
- Kenneth Sugalski, 49, of Conshohocken
- Ashish Verma, 37, of Norristown
The undercover operation began last week as part of an ongoing effort with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Montgomery County Detective Bureau to identify and arrest people who meet minors on social media for sex.
Each of the five men separately had extensive online and text conversations with undercover detectives posing as a 14-year-old girl or a 14-year-old boy, they said.
They exchanged "sexually explicit" messages, with some of the men even sending sexual photos to the "child," according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
Campos was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 15, and released on $50,000 bail, authorities said.
The rest of the men were arrested on Friday, Sept. 16, but only Sugaluski remained held in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility after failing to post $99,000 bail.
Kohlmeier's bail was also set at $99,000, along with Verma's. Lattanzi had the lowest bail amount. His was reduced from $50,000 to $5,000.
Their preliminary hearings are each set for Sept. 28.
