PSP troopers from Chambersburg were called when an alarm went off at Maria and Sal's Pizzeria located on Lincoln Way East in Guilford Township, just over 30 minutes after midnight.
The two men pictured "forced entry into the business and removed U.S. currency from the register. The same suspects had committed five additional burglaries throughout Franklin County during the early morning hours," the police stated in a release on Wednesday, Nov. 23.
Only three of the business names were released by the police: Maria and Sal's Pizzeria in Fayetteville, Vinnie's on 11 in Chambersburg, and Mercersburg Beverage.
In all of the burglaries, the men dressed in the grey sweatsuit and in all black used "a yellow crowbar to break glass and pry into cash registers," the police explained in the release.
They fled the scenes in the pictured silver SUV, the police believe this is possibly a Dodge Journey.
Two of the stolen cash registers were later recovered in a wooded area along Airport Road in Southampton Township by PSP troopers in Carlisle.
A cash reward of an undisclosed amount is being offered for anyone who provides information to the police that leads to an arrest.
