Boat Dweller Burned In Explosion On The Susquehanna River: Authorities

 A 54-year-old man was hospitalized with burns after his boat exploded in the Susquehanna River on Friday, March 17, 2023, authorities say.

The unnamed man who suffered burns to his face, head, arms, and back has since been released, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission's Communications Director Mike Parker, told Daily Voice. 

The fiberglass boat he was living in had a cabin and was tied to a floating dock in Lancaster County near Water Street in Washington Boro, when the propane heater exploded for an unknown reason, numerous authorities have explained to Daily Voice.

The fiery incident remains under investigation.
