Hit-Run Leaves Woman On Scooter Lying In Roadway By York Chili's, Police Say A woman who had been riding a scooter outside of Chili's in York was truck by a passing vehicle that fled the scene, West Manchester Township Police announced on Thursday, Aug. 29.  The police arrived at the Chili's located at 1295 Carlisle Road in York to find the woman lying in the northbound traffic lanes of the road in front of the restaurant at 3:51 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, as detailed in the police release.  The woman "was conscious and able to answer questions," the police said, "She advised the investigating officers that she had been riding an electric scooter before imp…

Pink Gloved Woman Robs York County Bank, Police Say A woman wearing hot pink gloves robbed a bank in West Manchester Township on Monday, April 17, 2023, area police announced the following day.  Officers were dispatched to Traditions Bank at 2170 White Street following the robbery just before 10 a.m., according to the police release.  A review of bank surveillance video showed the incident. The woman walked into the bank at 9:45 a.m. according to the time stamp video, according to the police. Man, 24, Shot By MD Driver At PA Carwash Dies In Hospital: Coroner A 24-year-old man died in a central Pennsylvania hospital hours after he was shot by a group of men in a car from Maryland, on Friday, May, 20, according to the coroner's office. Two unidentified men had been shot at The Auto Spa Express located at 2140 York Crossing Drive at approximately 12:55 p.m., police say.  One of the victims is being treated at the hospital for his injuries.
