Amish Horse-Buggy Involved In Quarryville Crash: Authorities
An Amish family's horse-and-buggy was involved in a crash in Quarryville on Tuesday morning, authorities explained. The crash happened on Beaver Valley Pike between Old and Fairview roads in Providence Township, according to Lancaster County Wide Communication. Crews were sent to the scene at 8:33 a.m. on March 14, LCWC detailed. "It was just a spooked horse," officials with the Quarryville Fire Company told Daily Voce. No motor vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported.

I-81 Traffic Creeps, Crawls Following 'Serious' Crash At PA/MD Line:PennDOT
A serious crash on Interstate 81 caused some major deals near the Pennslyvania/Maryland state line on Monday, according to authorities. The crash happened in the northbound lanes of I-81 at mile marker 10.3 in Guilford Township, Greencastle at 9:28 a.m. on March 11, according to PennDOT. State police investigated the crash. The number of vehicles involved and any injuries were not noted. PennDOT expects residual delays.

The pair killed in an alleged hit-and-run crash in Bristol Township over the weekend has been identified as a husband and wife from Brooklyn, Connecticut. Richard and Rebecca Whiddon, 37 and 33, were passengers in a Nissan that was struck near the corner of Veterans Highway and Ford Road on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 24, Daily Voice reported. A child has been taken to a trauma center after being struck by a vehicle, Chambersburg police announced on Friday. The child "[accidentally] ran onto the roadway and was struck by a passing motorist," on Dec. 8, as written in the police release. A jackknifed tractor-trailer caused major delays on US Route 30 on Friday afternoon. The tractor-trailer leaked fuel onto US Rt. 30 East by Exit: PA 462 - Lincoln Highway, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. The jackknifing happened around 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 1, dispatchers explained. No injuries were reported, but a HazMat crew remains on the scene for "spill control," dispatchers said. Company 63 from the Lafayette Fire Company assisted Lancaster County HazMat with the cleanup. The fuel came from the tractor-trailer's saddle tanks, the company explained. …
