Staples’ death, which occurred nearly five months ago, has now been ruled a homicide. Staples’ body was discovered in the 100 block of Linden Street in the Allison Hill neighborhood of Harrisburg around 6:09 p.m. on July 8, 2024, according to authorities at the time. York Coroner Called To Crash Into Tree A man crashed into a tree and died Thursday night, according to the York County coroner. Crews responded to a single-vehicle crash into a tree in the 650 block of Potts Hill Road in Newberry Township around 10:30 p.m. The coroner was called around 11 p.m. A man was declared deceased at the scene from multiple blunt force trauma at 11:47 p.m., according to the coroner's office.
