Officers fatally shot a person allegedly causing a disturbance in a densely populated Central Pennsylvania neighborhood on Thursday, March 7, Pennsylvania State Police announced in a late night release. After reviewing events leading up to the fatal shooting of a 33-year-old man, Cumberland County District Attorney Seán M. McCormack ruled the police were justified in the killing. The first baby who was born at Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center has died and his father has been charged with his murder, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Avery Sampson was 8 lbs and 12 ounces when he was born to Kathryn "Kat" Durham and Timothy "Tim" Lloyd Sampson at the Hampden Medical Center in Enola at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2021, according to Penn State Health News.
