The Northern York County Regional Police Department is seeking the public's help locating a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that left a 10-year-old girl with brain bleeds and her father seriously injured, police announced on Thursday, Nov. 21.
The crash happened at 12:26 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, at the intersection of York and Porters roads in Heidelberg Township, police said and Daily Voice previously reported. An auto repair shop owner has died after being struck by his own truck, the York County Coroner's Office announced on Friday, Sept. 27.
Irl L. Therit, Jr., 63, of Hanover, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital at 3:11 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, according to a release by the coroner's office.
Deputy Coroner Molly York was called to the hospital to investigate and certify the death.

A York County native and mom of 15 children has died just three days after one of her children.
Nancy A. (Reinhold) Markle, 88, of York, passed away at UPMC Memorial Hospital on Thursday, Aug. 15, according to her obituary posted on John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc.
Her surname may sound familiar to Daily Voice readers as her 63-year-old Donald "Donnie" Markle died in a motorcycle crash on Aug. 12, as we previously reported.
