It's Electric! More Car Charging Stations Added In Harrisburg Electrifying news out of Harrisburg, more car charging stations have opened.The city held a ribbon cut for the new stations on Thursday. "I'm giving great thanks to PA DEP's driving forward program, which was the grant program which has allowed us to put in these new electric vehicle charging stations, right here, in the garage on City Island," Mayor Eric Papenfuse said. The eight new car charging stations are located on City Island. The city plans to convert some of its vehicles to electric in the future. There are now more than 20 stations throughout the city.
