Mechanicsburg Church Youth Leader Charged For Sexual Assualt At McDonald’s
A 76-year-old church volunteer took three youth group members shopping and to lunch at McDonald's and ended up with police storming his home, as detailed in court documents obtained by Daily Voice. Roy Andrews of the 4900 block Raudabaugh Road in Mechanicsburg was the youth leader for a Hispanic church in Harrisburg called “Iglesia La Fuenta” from 2014 through 2022, the police explained in a release. A woman received hundreds of phone calls in under two hours from her stalking ex-boyfriend, police alleged in an announcement on Monday, Nov. 6. Omar Gaines, 45 of Carlisle, was arrested the day after the incident "near the victim's residence," the Carlisle police said. A roommate was slashed across his neck and chest by a man supposedly on drugs just before midnight on Sunday, authorities announced the following day. Lee Allen Payne was in front of his home in the 100 block of North Pitt Street, Carlisle when the police arrived at 11:55 p.m. on Aug. 27, the department detailed in the release. A York County, PA robber was caught by US Marshals in Northern Maryland — three months after a second child told authorities they were sexually abused by him. Anthony James Raimo, 35, of the 700 block of Harrisburg Pike, Dillsburg, was arrested on July 7 by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Washington County, MD Sheriff's Office, according to a release on Friday. An insurance salesman in Cumberland County has been after he beat a neighbor and their vehicle with a baseball bat on Jan. 6., authorities say.
