Dauphin County Dad Crushed To Death By 'Hundreds Of Pounds Of Steel' Osha Investigating A father and local business owner was crushed to death but not at his own business, Pennsylvania State Police explained to Daily Voice on Thursday, Jan. 18.  Jordan Dallas Zimmerman of Lewisburg, Lykens Township, was crushed by falling steel at Dryhill Manufacturing, located on North Crossroads Road, Trooper Kelly Abati told us.   PSP was called to the scene to investigate around 9:20 a.m. on Monday after, "A piece of steel weighing several hundred pounds crushed him," Trooper Abati said.  The 31-year-old died from a traumatic brain injury at 11 a.m. on Jan, 15, according to his obituary a…

Boy, 2, Drowns In Pond, Dauphin County Coroner Says A 2-year-old boy has died after he fell into a pond on Thursday, according to Pennsylvania State police. Police were called to a report of an unresponsive child in the 1700 block of Luxemburg Road in Lykens Township between 5 and 5:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner. The death has been ruled an accident and no charges will be filed.
